REREAD
One of my favorite books in the series, this novel is darker and more intense, providing us with another heart wrenching insight into Eve's history.
I've seen comments about this book stretching the bounds of realism which make me shake my head. This series is sci-fi mixed with a murder mystery; realism has no place within the covers. Despite that the stories, characters, motives and emotions always read as genuine to me and that is a huge part of my long lived love affair with this series ...more

Review to follow
Once again, J.D. Robb does not fail to captivate us with an amazing story from the year 2060 about Eve Dallas and Rourke. This book is especially good because it is emotionally challenging and yet Eve and Rourke triumph! Cannot wait to read the next one...
