This is the first Military Men book I've read and honestly did not expect to enjoy it. I was wrong, I loved it. I found myself with goosebumps many time over the obstacles these men had to overcome. They never wavered, they are Marines, strong and brave inside and out. They suffer horribly painful and life changing injuries in the service of their country. Great intro to a series. I am excited to read about these damaged, but still very lovable and capable military men. Madden is a wonderful person and I highly recommend any of her books.
