I'm shocked at how much I loved this book. Before I started, I thought there was no way I was going to enjoy a story about the ruthless Arum. But, I was wrong. This book was so good and very hot! I got to understand the Arum like never before. Plus, I saw a said of the Luxen that I didn't know existed. Now I have both sides to consider when finishing the series. I absolutely loved the transformation that Hunter had in this book.

It's amazing what love will do to a person... or even an alien.

Shelves: why, no-words-for-this, dubious-content, whats-a-consent

I did not finish this book but I am done with it, because what the fuck did I just read? What is even CONSENT, right?!?

I will start this review by admitting that I've read the Lux series and LOVED them, and I've loved this author's previous writings very much!
I just dislike the fuck outta this one because this is all kinds of fucked up to the point that I simply refuse to finish it. I mean I've read fanfics that has better writing than this, yes I went there! And here's why..

This book surprised me in a few ways. For one thing, I was unaware of this books existence for quite some time. I read the first three books in the Lux series, before stumbling upon this little treasure here (Thank you goodreads!). I found this book very interesting. In the Lux series, which I do LOVE, the only side of the story we get to hear is the Luxen's. I loved that the Arram had an explanation and unique version of events.
