I'm a huge Keri Arthur fan - love both her Riley Jensen and Dark Angels series, so I had high expectations for this series as well. Keri certainly didn't fail to meet them either. This book was a fantastic start to this series, even if it didn't quite end the way I wanted it to!

I love Keri Arthur's Riley Jenson series and when I saw this series being re-released in ebook I was very excited as I had wanted to try it. While the story is well done, it did not grab me like the Riley Jenson series...for me it just did not have that something that pulls you into the story.

Well this the 2nd time I wrote this review, 1st one didn't save...don't know if I can sum it up as well as I did the first time.
But this is definitely one hell of a read. I love Ms. Arthur's world building.
Nikki is a private investigator who is broken and so lonely.
Enters Michael, one hell of a sexy vampire, whom I took to immediately, who will die the true death to keep Nikki safe. Don't you just love that?
Loads of action, and gut wrenching tension.
One nasty vampire with zombies to do his biddi ...more
