Wish there was a way to make this 4 1/2 stars, but its not quite 5 star. That said, I still loved this book!! I loved seeing Hardy Cates again as I fell in love with him in Sugar Daddy But this is Haven's story, sister to Gage from Sugar Daddy. The story is told in first person (Haven) and while I am not a fan of that, it did not take away from the book at all. This book was amazing, even though it has some dark themes that are unsuitable for everyone. I really did love it and I did love Mr. Cates. I remember reading the other books about 8 years ago and not reading this one because of him. He got his redemption but what the eff was that at the end?

Audio- great romantic audio with a fantastic narrator. We follow Hardy as he tries to find his place after his rough brake-out from his homelike. He has built a road paved with sharp edged glass. He did what he had to to get out of the hole he was in but now he wants something more. Unfortunately, what he wants might be the stupidest choice he ever made.
I enjoyed the romantic nature of this book and how the author redeemed a really rotten character. I did not think it possible.
