I loved this story of a Texas girl who has to grow up way too soon. Her single mother struggles to rase one daughter then finds herself pregnant with another baby. Their lives get hard but then they get even harder when tragedy strikes. Liberty Jones is a woman I can respect, and I enjoyed her heart wrenching story.

Great read from Lisa Kleypas, once again she does not disappoint me. This is the first contemporary of hers I have read. I wasn't sure what to expect as I have only read her romantic historicals. I loved all the characters in this book. They were all felt real and down to earth. Liberty our heroine in this book, had a tough choice towards the end. She had to choose between two HOT men she loved. whew... I would have wanted to keep them both. I am looking forward to reading the rst of this serie
