This is the 2nd in the Friday Harbor series, so you've met Sam and Holly already. I like that you get to learn more about him. I liked Lucy too and was drawn into her family story. I liked how this was ended too. I didn't feel as cut off like I did in the 1st book in the series (Christmas eve at Friday Harbor). You see more of Alex in this book than Mark. It was kind of strange how little you see Mark in this.
