I find myself having difficulty rating and reviewing this book. It is a touchy subject matter and hard to judge or understand fully. Many thoughts circulating in my mind.

Listened to this book on CD - borrowed from the library. Great story with an interesting ending. The story is about a young girl named Gemma. She is with her parents in an airport waiting to board the next plane on their journey. She separates from her parents to get a cup of coffee and runs into Ty. Ty has slipped a drug in Gemma's coffee and proceeds to talk and flirt with her until they take affect. She slips in and out of consciousness until the drugs wear off. I had a feeling of emptiness when I finished the book. I had followed them through their journey of him trying to make his actions seem noble or just and Gemma coming to terms with her almost feelings just before they are ripped apart.
I want to hurt Ty as much as I want to hold his hand and comfort him, because he didn't seem like a bad person. He was just doing bad things. For the girl he loved.
But is it bad of me for hating him for Gemma because she seems incapable of it? ...more
