The beginning scene was a little confusing to me, but more so because I wasn't really expecting it. And I think because we haven't been introduced to the story yet. Later, it made more sense and adds wonderfully to the story.

Despite this confusion, it didn't take me long to fall in love with the story line--obviously since I read it in a day. In fact, I completely fell for the whole story and read all six books in 7 days and am only now able to go back and write reviews. I can't wait for book 7 ...more

Really wanted to love this since it feautures two bisexual main characters, but this was so boring.
The narration felt off, there was a lot of info dumping about the world, magic and magical creatures, so you forgot everything right away.
After reading 110 pages, still nothing really had happened and I was bored. It was just so slow.
Such a shame, I really didnt want to dnf this :(
