The only thing I did not like about Stephen King's End of Watch was the title. Though it is totally appropriate it telegraphs an important plot point-one I think we would have been better off being a bit more uncertain about. I consider this to be a minor quibble in the scheme of things. End of Watch was still suspenseful and exciting and served as a good satisfying climax to the Bill Hodges trilogy. Bonus points awarded as it veers into what many consider "Stephen King territory" as the villain

This was my favorite book out of the trilogy. When I was listening to/reading it, I felt that Mr. King had hit upon a serious note with the suicide theme. The afterword where he encourages people to get help if they are feeling suicidal was confirmation that he was dealing with this difficult subject.
