Thrice the Brinded Cat Hath Mew'd is the eight book in the Flavia de Luce series. Everyone who knows my reading life knows I am head over heels in my adoration of Flavia-though if you had told me a few years ago I was going to enjoy the adventures of a prepubescent poisoner and amateur sleuth in post WWII England I would have probably responded as follows: "Unlikely."
