The Jackaby series has become such a good comfort series to fall back on. I love picking up a fun mystery, especially after a disappointing book, and this time was no exception!

I felt that this installment started a little slow and at first, the sense of danger was almost lost to me. But then again, the exposition is not completely lost; it's a proper start to the story and serves as the introduction for everything else.
