Shelves: why-the-hype, painfully-predictable, boring-but-finished

I would not necessarily call this a 'suspense' book as it was more about romance. It was not a page turner and the ending was pretty predictable. ...more

Shelves: kindle-book, own-it, mystery, read-in-2018, group-read-vwf, thriller

This book was definitely not what I was thinking it was going to be. I just kept waiting (and waiting and waiting) for this big plot twist. I mean over 100 people have shelved it as a "thriller" but nothing thrilling really happened. There is a twist, it just doesn't come until about 85% in in the book and then it's not a blow your mind plot twist either. Another person reviewed this book and said it was 90% chicklit and 10% suspense. I would agree with that. I didn't think the book was bad by a ...more
