I've read almost every piece of work that Joe Hill has graced the world of literature with, and I've loved all of them, but this was exceptionally brilliant. Rather than dwell on monsters and ghosts, the most terrifying aspect of Strange Weather was simply the horror of the human psyche, and how far people will go to inflict pain upon others.

Joe Hill has quite the imagination and "Strange Weather" was the perfect name for this book containing four short stories and strange they were for sure. Some of these stories I liked more than others. In order of most liked to least liked it would go "Rain" because it somewhat reminded me of Ray Bradbury's There Will Come Soft Rains, except it was also completely different. A collection of four stories that vary in genre, from horror to a survival story. I personally enjoyed 'Snapshot' and 'Rain' the most as their genres of horror and apocalyptic are some of my favourite genres to read. That being said, 'Loaded' and 'Aloft' were also well written.
