Maybe I am not cut out to read The Classics. Maybe I wasn't completely in the mood. Although there was that night I ate my special brownie and the chapters I read clicked, the words were all so pretty, I felt like I got it. Maybe I should have read the entire book that way, only after nibbling on my special brownies, because let me tell you, my rational mind was frustrated. I am sure, for it's time, this was a really scary book. And there were parts of it I liked. But for the most part, I was distracted by all of the commas. So many commas. ...more
