I honestly think the author/publisher missed an opportunity to market to a larger audience with these books by using these covers. Now don't get me wrong, as a straight female who loves some paranormal romance, these covers are great. But what is within this book is SO much more than that hot shirtless male on the cover. And these books are definitely more urban fantasy than paranormal romance. In fact the romance is a pretty small part of the book. I really love this series, easily a favorite f

This second book in the series was definitely not a disappointment. I absolutely loved Jace! It was great to see an introvert as a main character for a change. Jace got her individual story but it was wrapped nicely in the overall story arc of the series. Fun to read with lots of action and humor, and most importantly, Brodie Hawaii had a few good scenes.
I enjoy these in audio, they are a bit over the top and violent though.can't
