Reread 03-05- 22 (in audio) Still good almost exactly ten years later and I'm still impressed by the depth of this world.

What a fun way to spend my day! I was pretty sure I was going to enjoy the book when I read the definition of Cryptid at the very beginning. "Cryptid, noun:
1. Any creature whose existence has been suggested but not proven scientifically. Term officially coined by cryptozoologist John E. Wall in 1983.
2. That thing that's getting ready to eat your head.
3. See also: "monster."

I realize I'm in the minority with not liking the book. There were way too many forced jokes, not enough plot, and I didn't like the two main characters.
