3.5 stars Audiobook. great narration. It was a good first in the series read, definitely needs time to build the characters. I will move on to book 2.

Twisted and graphic. Disturbing yet a page turner. We have a lot of touchy subject matter in this one. Rape, murder, suicide, religious torture, just to name a few.

Karin Slaughter really knows how to keep my interest in a story. I read the Will Trent series last year and still can't get those characters out of my head. I tried to avoid, mainly because I know where some of the characters are heading, but had to take the plunge into this series to find out more about Sara Linton's past.

Returned. The hero and heroine were married until he cheated. When the story begins, they are divorced. I do not enjoy reading about cheaters.
