I absolutely adore this series. The heroine is 45 years old!!! I love reading about characters that have life experience but can still make a positive change in their life without being down on themselves. This series has everything that I love: a hot sexy hero who happens to be middle aged, a spunky best friend, a heroine that I can relate to and magic and mayhem. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys paranormal.

What a great read. Fast paced, action packed and fun read. I actually sat in my car and laughed out loud. I’m pretty sure anyone walking past me, thought I was crazy.
I really enjoyed Definance, Mr. Sexy and Annette.
I mean who knew.
I’m so glad this series is continuing with Annette’s adventures.
Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this book for the most part. The actual plot was great - with lots of potential poisonings and exploding cakes! Hunters are in Salem and Defiance believes they are after her, but are they? There are lots of other powerful witches in town, so could it be someone else they are after?

And eventually we get to find out who really did kill Gigi and why - have to say I was more surprised by this turn of events than I thought I would have been. I really did think it was someone else a ...more

This one was back to the level of the first one and not as good as the second. There is very little actual plot development and a lot of sassy talk. People do stupid things. There is more thinking about how hot people are than actual things happening.

Color me disappointed.
