As an audio listen, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith is genuine delight.
I like how this series approaches and explores magic. It’s goofy self-acceptance and intriguing theories makes this series a perfect buddy-read.

Okay I think I get the hype of this series now! I definitely enjoyed this book and the narration has gotten quite good.
Whispers Under Ground is filled with magic of different types, new creatures and beings. Fae that aren't really fae and I really want to know what they actually are. But with all this magic there's a lot of police and detective work going on as well. Peter is learning how to actually be a detective which makes it better plus Leslie is a major character again in this one. I appre ...more
