Oh my goodness—I knew I'd be absolutely thrilled to step back into The Guild Codex Universe, and to visit Kit & Lienna again...but it was even better than I could've imagined! It felt like pure perfection—It felt like home :).

This was a good book but not as great as the rest of the world. Also the way the narrator says any demonica words really grates on me.
This is the second of Kit's stories. I still think his magic is fascinating. I cannot wait to learn more about how the actual warps work. I loved getting some background on Lienna and finding out why she wants to stay in Vancouver. Her magic is so neat. The chemistry between the two of them is so much fun.

Ok, so still not the best book in this universe, but it is a bit better than the previous book. Maybe I'm more used to the characters... Kit is fun and his partner isn't too bad herself, although a bit annoying at times.

A quick, light UF read. Kit is so much fun and his story is a great addition to the Guild Codex world. I'm enjoying the Warped series just as much as I did the Spellbound and Demonized series. We're after Demon Magic and a Martini / Taming Demons for Beginners in the timeline now, Robin gets mentioned a few times over the course of Kit and Lienna's current case, and Tori and Darius get a little cameo. Can't wait for Kit's next adventure!
