3.5 stars - this was a bit slow to get going, probably due to the fact that relationships are developed among two teams with crossover interactions between the teams including the romance. First things first. This is a paranormal romance. Knowing that going in solves a lot of problems for me in the reading of it. There are just some things that one expects from a paranormal romance. More character, less world, inst-love, a happy ending, and sex. Once that is understood, we can ignore all those things in the plot and just discuss if we liked it.

I have been "saving" this short series for a rainy day and finally decided to dive into it.
I love love that all the ladies in this book are badasses in their own right. They definitely don't need no man to save them but are equally as lethal as the men in the series. Love the found family aspect that is a theme in all of Kit Rocha's works. The action was well written.
