Introduction:

Now, you know that whenever you read fairy tales and folktales that have a “dark and spooky” forest in the plot, you are in for some serious horror (as “Little Red Riding Hood” has shown and lo and behold, there is a story similar to “Little Red Riding Hood” in this graphic novel)! Through the Woods is a YA horror graphic novel that contains five “mysterious, spine-tingling” fairytale-esque short stories about “journeys into (and out of?) the eerie abyss.”

My thoughts:

Despite being told that these stories are horror and would be best read around Halloween, I was still surprised at how creepy they were. I thought since this is a graphic novel and illustrations are provided, it would be hard to recreate the suspense and mysteriousness inherent in horror stories that help to m

I have wanted to get my hands on this for quite some time so I was thrilled to learn my library had recently purchased it. I was in between Kindle chargings late one night so I picked this up and devoured it in one sitting.
