My Lady Jane is a terrifically enjoyable if inaccurate romp through Tudor history. The authors make the characters come alive in a way that enables them to be like able and relatable. Not everyone is a fan of historical fiction, but I feel that this book makes that genre more accessible.

That was a fun read! As a lover of the Tudor dynasty it's always hard to find anything written about Edward Tudor or Jane especially in fiction so a fantasy romance novel about both? Sign me up! Add in some great humor and it's a safe bet you'll have a great read in store. I never knew the original history of Lady Jane Grey, but I can say with utmost certainty that this version of the tale has to be more entertaining by far. There's humor, there's romance, there are people turning into animals! I love the quirky style of the narrators, and I loved the complexities of the characters and their relationships to each other (things are bound to be complicated when the one you love turns into a horse at sunrise). Definitely add this to your TBR pile!

It would have been better without the authors' interjections. I know they were meant to be humorous, but I found them distracting.
