I feel like I should be rating this 5 stars, but something is stopping me... Maybe it's just that I would NEVER EVER go for a guy like Derek Craven? He's just TOO rough for me... But I thought the OTHER Sara was a great match for him. I loved how, even though she was essentially a spinster country bumpkin, she wasn't SHOCKED by some of the down-and-dirty things that went on in London. Meh. I probably would've given up on this one, except I'm listening to old episodes of Fated Mates and trying to read along. This is just not a dynamic that interests me.

I think LK and I are just not meant to be. I didn’t like the hero, the heroine drove me crazy. There’s a lot of messed up in this book and if he hurt her by grabbing her arms one more time, I was going to chuck this in the trash.
