As I was reading this book, I was aware that one could make a case for it needing to be more tightly edited, but I absolutely loved all the meandering exactly as it was. Lots of classic DWJ goodness: multiple universes and the bouncing between thereof, people with uniquely different kinds of magic, adults and children who end up being different or more than they seem.
