I think one of the things I liked about Violet Eden right off the bat was her athleticism and strength. When she realizes her trainer and crush Lincoln is not everything she thought she falls into the same trap that most teen females seem to succumb to where they start making really stupid life choices, and she almost immediately falls for bad boy, Phoenix (enter the trite love triangle that almost all paranormal romances seem to require these days).
