What Members Thought
The Xanth books by Piers Anthony were one of the first SciFi/Fantasy series I ever read. I love puns so I have always enjoyed them. Upon re-reading them I can see that they have some weaknesses but overall they stand the test of time. They are a fun and fast read that keeps me amused without any deep thinking required.
I read the Xanth Novels much later than most people read them. I was in college when I read them, and I think most people get to them in junior high and high school.
I like puns a lot, so I got a lot of groaning laughs out of this and the other Xanth Novels. After a while, they got kind of tedious and I quite reading the books before I read the whole series.

I loved these when I was younger. They are some of the most amazingly inventive fantasy, as far as magic plants, animals, people, etc.
