I liked the book okay, though the villain was rather cartoon-ish. I could practically picture him twirling his moustache. I also guessed who Seph's parents were almost immediately, so that was no fun. ...more

I liked the politics in this book. The plot and all that were great too, but what really drew me in was the back and forth and the political undercurrents that ran through the book. And I'm not talking democrat vs. republican, but the wizarding politics. I guess you'd have to read it to understand what I'm talking about. What else is great is that this was a sequel, and I still haven't read the first one, but this book stood on its own very well. I didn't need to read the first one in order to u ...more
