What Members Thought
I've been reading recently trying to find strong female protagonists in SF/F. Mead always does a good job of writing strong heroines with emotions they try to keep in check and showing how those emotions don't make them weak even though they think they do. Mae is an interesting character as a medically enhanced super soldier. But the story moved a little too slow for me, even though a lot happens. I will try the next in the series, but don't feel compelled to pick it up right away.
