CAUTION: There is a rape in this book.
The rape scene is not graphic. The main character passes out from drinking too much Scotch and when she comes to, she figures out what happened.
I only read the first 53 pages of this book. The writing was only mediocre and the story was less than riveting. After the rape happened, I figured I didn't really want to read any more.
I am trying to learn to give up sooner on books I am not enjoying and move on to books I am more likely to enjoy. ...more
