I didn't have much sympathy for Grayson-the way he manipulated and hurt people was just wrong, and no matter how you slice it, is a major flaw in his character. I don't think it's healthy or realistic that he wanted to change his whole life around just because of a girl, even though he was kind of on the right track to fixing himself up. I did not hear good things about The Promise of Amazing before I read it. However, I downloaded it off Edelweiss and felt obligated to read it. Perhaps if you like bad boys, this book will be your thing. It was not my thing.
