I didn't have much sympathy for Grayson-the way he manipulated and hurt people was just wrong, and no matter how you slice it, is a major flaw in his character. I don't think it's healthy or realistic that he wanted to change his whole life around just because of a girl, even though he was kind of on the right track to fixing himself up. The chemistry between the two main characters was nothing to write home about and their instantly fulfilling relationship was not in any way realistic. Also, wa ...more

I did not hear good things about The Promise of Amazing before I read it. However, I downloaded it off Edelweiss and felt obligated to read it. Perhaps if you like bad boys, this book will be your thing. It was not my thing.
