I liked it! I didn’t love it. Often when reading YA novels I wonder why they’re not held to the same standard of realism as “adult” novels – I’m not talking about mysticism, magic realism, or high emotion – but rather the fact that teenagers are able to make decisions and get away with things that would be shut down in an instant in the real world.
