Confession: I listened to this book. Ok, another confession... I've been listening to this whole series. You know how some audio books stink, and others rock? (If you didn't know this, you're welcome.) This series rocks on audio.

I sort of expected more things to be resolved, even though I knew that this wasn't the last book in the series... A lot of things happened, but in the end, we are still mostly at the same point as the end of Speaker for the Dead. The fleet is still threatening to destroy Lusitania with the three intelligent species there. Although I guess they now have a safe escape route.

What stayed with me from this book was Han Qing-jao's test to see if she was godtouched.
