Most people either love or hate this book. I am not alone in preferring the segment that takes place in the past to the hypnosis story line of the present. While the book seemed dramatic when it was published (albeit derivative of Green Darkness, without Seton's skill), it now reads as cliched and very condescending to women. ...more
