This is one of the best books I've read in a while! At times it felt as though the author had heard my complaints about YA books and took them to heart (because I do have that much power over authors...)

Nastiya and Josh both come from tragic circumstances and are drawn to each other because of their loneliness. This is the slightly protracted story of how they come together and help bring some measure of salvation and fulfillment to the other.

Millay’s novel will pull you in right from the start, but it’s a slow-burner. The plot of this novel isn’t fast-paced, and in some ways, it’s not insanely unique. It’s about people who have yet to figure out how to deal with their emotional baggage.
