This book was thoroughly enjoyable and hard to put down. It is part of a series and although I did not start the series in order, I am anxious to read some of Stacey's other books now. The Kowalski family is very close knit and has closed ranks against Keri, Joe's former high school girlfriend, who's leaving town after graduation to become a successful celebrity magazine reporter in LA sent Joe into an alcoholic tailspin. I got this for free (or maybe it was 99 cents ... ) on my Kindle several weeks ago, and I started reading it almost by accident yesterday - I was sitting around with a few minutes to kill, and I'd run out of games to play on my phone, and so I clicked on the Kindle app, and ...
