This was a very enjoyable, quick read. The author goes in-depth on the subject of abused wives, which is part of the main character's background and it's really quite interesting and fast-paced. She also gets into the oil recovery industry in Texas, not a subject that would probably interest most people but something new, none the less. I could not put this book down.

The follow up to Sugar Daddy, this was a great book. THe subject matter (abusive husband) was somewhat difficult for me to read about but overall it was very well done. I can't wait for another contemporary romance from Lisa Kleypas.
