This book is probably the reason I turned to humor and wit in order to impress people and make friends, and while it was not a great experience having humor as my only asset during my adolescence, I guess in the long run I'm happy about the way things turned out.

I loved this book so much that I made the teacher read this book to the class. Everyone loved it. Anything Louis Sachar writes is amazing!
