3 stars is generous. I failed to read this book years ago after seeing the TV series and if it hadn't been so short I might have failed again. I don't care about the characters, there's insufficient development of the plot elements and - most importantly - I don't believe it. Perhaps the protagonist is simply too young to take on such a role or perhaps the author hurls the reader into the midst of things without providing sufficient context.
