tbh it took me a few chapters to get into this--I somehow missed reading any of Flake's work when I was younger, which is weird, because she was getting started right as I was growing into YA. But whatever. Anyway. Once I really go into the zone with this, I was so so impressed. The bullying is so visceral and terrifying and real and well rendered, and I really love that things aren't so pat at the end.
