What Members Thought
It's solidly "okay." It has a good structure, but it lacks depth, more than just, "This'll show them!" with daring feats. A far cry from an introspective man vs. nature tale. For a Newbery Award book, I was disappointed. The Island of the Blue Dolphins is far better.
