What Members Thought
I love the way Olson and Schwartz retell these folktales! I read many of them aloud-- they do lend themselves to being listened to. My favorite stories were "The Laplander's Drum," "The Murky Secret" (very peculiar), "Next-of-Kin," "Nowhere to Hide" (poor sap!), "The Mouse Trap" (is there such a thing as a tide mouse?), "The Black Snake," and "A Trace of Blood." I've read the sequel, More Bones, so I hope these two compile another book of scary stories soon!
