Very intrigued to see where this series will go! Major cliffhanger ending! It took me a little bit to get back into the world, especially since Frey is more or less just a mirror for her sister and it took her a while to really show her own personality.
I received this advanced readers copy from my library director, who scored it at Book Expo America.

Years after the Uglies trilogy, cities have developed and differentiated themselves. Frey and Rafi are the daughters of a fascist warlord who rules one of these cities. Rafi is publicly acknowledged as his heir; her twin sister Frey is kept hidden as her bodyguard and stand-in. Rafi is requested as a hostage to another city, and Frey is sent in her place.
