I bought this book because
1) I like the story "East of the Sun and West of the Moon"
2) The cover is pretty
I've had this book for years -- I bought it when it was new in 2003 or 2004 -- and started multiple times and never got far because it is just so boring. Not terrible, not offensive, not badly researched, but for mercy's sake why are you talking about this for so many pages? Why is this included at all?! This book is 500 pages and could easily have been reduced to half that with no plots ch ...more
