I read the Advance Readers Copy so I feel obligated to write a review. This book is so different than the other books by Cecelia Ahearn. It takes a while to get into. I would describe this as Fantasy for Chicklit fans. I got a little bit anxious reading it because I wanted to go look for all the things I've ever lost! The ARC I got was actually called There's No Place Like Here, which is a great title for this book. I'm guessing that this will be the title when it comes out. ...more

As long as you're willing to get past a few inconsistencies in the book, it's pretty good. It was a little slow to start. I didn't think the beginning was bad, just... weak. Once I got into it, I enjoyed it.

I liked this one a lot, not what I was expecting but in a good way. Ever since her classmate went missing at the age of 10 Sandy Shortt has been obessed with finding things. As an adult she starts a missing person's agency but then one day she goes missing herself. The story is pretty imaginative and had some unexpected suprises. To say more would give too much away. ...more
