Cute, funny historical romance. The character have some issues but nothing too dark. I found both of them likeable, which is pretty rare.
I do wish fiction writers would stop making characters' psychological or emotional problems caused by a single traumatic event.
The historical setting is not very authentic; actually inauthentic to the degree that I was able to dismiss the whole authenticity issue and enjoy it as fluff.
