Okay, so I *know* I've read this series before, but apparently it didn't make it onto Goodreads, so... here goes nothing.
Sasha and Bran... First of all, I didn't particularly like the audiobook narrator's voice for Bran. It was entirely too gruff. Like if the character had mentioned smoking 2 packs of cigarettes a day since the day he turned 18 (legal smoking age in Ireland. I googled it.), I wouldn't have been surprised. A classic Nora Roberts
I don’t know if this is the Stars of Mithra series reworked, but the plot is essentially exactly the Circle Trilogy. If you like that sort of thing (and I do, on occasion) this is really good. I expect that each pair in this set of six will come together as they save the multiverse from a dark evil and its minions. Well written, well paced, likable characters, relatable character development and conflict— just some solid writing. Would recommend.

Ok, I normally don't go for this kind of book, but I have been on a run of "heavies" lately, and I just needed something fun and readable. This fit the bill nicely - - -a little bit of romance, a lot of magic, and a lot of fun. I think I may even go on to read the other two books in this trilogy!

Putting this on hold for the time being. I started it 7 months ago and like it well enough while reading it, but after 47% I still have no urge to return to it once I've put it down. Probably just wrong book at the wrong time, so I'll give it another shot later.
