A fast-paced read that left me feeling a little cold. 3.5 stars.
Urrrrgh. This was right up there at 4 or 4.5 and dropped almost a full point for doing a Very Bad Trope at the end, the kind that is ugly and erasing and should not exist by now. But aside from that (seriously, so disappointing) choice, this was really good. It was fast paced and fascinating with some really thorough worldbuilding and smart characters on all sides of the equation. Awesome, except for That Thing!
