Blew me away. This author understands and can authentically articulate the effect of trauma. The quality of writing was much higher than in many teen books and the subject matter was very mature. Be warned that survivors of abuse may find some emotional triggers in this book.
Something happened in Drew's past, and now that he's at boarding school in Vermont he goes by the name "Win" (short for his middle name Winston), avoids people, barely eats, and believes he is a werewolf. Dark, intense, hard to push through at times, and so well written. But hard - hard to get into, because Drew is not inviting, and hard to finish once you know where the story is taking you.
